Teleflora - Drop-Ship Partnership Program

A partnership program for Teleflora, Floral Wire Service & Gift Delivery Network. Built from the ground up to serve customers in areas with no local florist coverage — turning previously unmet demand into a new, reliable sales channel.

Before this program, Teleflora's website had no way to fulfill a whole segment of demand — thousands of orders going unmet each month because there was no local florist network to deliver them. We built the company's first drop-ship program to close that gap: sourcing and negotiating vendor partnerships, building the systems and reporting to track performance, and scaling the program from a single pilot into six vendor partnerships and roughly 120 SKUs.

The program grew to fulfill tens of thousands of orders annually, turning a segment of the business that had never generated revenue into one of the company's most reliable new sales channels — and giving a whole category of Teleflora customers access to floral delivery for the first time.

Duties Performed:

  • Partnership Sourcing & Vendor Management: Primary contact with vendors for inventory selections, sourcing, inventory tracking, and fulfillment.

  • Content Manager: Used AI tools to generate product descriptions with the Teleflora voice and tone, drafted remarketing email copy, and seasonal promotional banners

  • Product Photography: Limited resources were allocated for this project since it was very new - I took it upon myself to collaborate with vendors for product images and also photographed the products myself to follow Teleflora style

  • Product Push Campaigns: During holidays we had increased inventory commitments - when sales were low, we deployed additional tactics like SMS and email to push inventory out

  • Program Operations & Reporting: Conducted monthly and quarterly reporting to partners and internal leadership

  • Budget Management: Conducted P&L to ensure we were profitable after incorporating cost of product, freight costs, tariffs and fees.
