Water for LA
A project of LA County Department of Public Works. This campaign was designed to inform LA County residents about water conservation, protection, and quality.
We embarked on this project with the goal to activate a community of engaged Water Advocates in LA County. Upon launch, we promoted our “LA is Thirsty” water bottle to encourage growth of our subscriber list and across social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter). This campaign required that we build our social audience from the ground up. During our 6 month sprint, we grew their social followers from zero to over 2.5K followers on Facebook, over 700 followers on Twitter, and over 300 Instagram followers.
I also proudly spearheaded the creation of our agency’s first Spanish content for this project, and launching our agency’s first bi-lingual campaign. This included the production of digital and printed ads, website content, and printed collateral designed specifically for Spanish-speakers.
Duties Performed:
Project Management: Assigned tasks to AirTable to keep our team in the know and track tasks assigned and delivered successfully and on time.
Copywriting: Content development in both English and Spanish for social, bi-weekly newsletters, digital and printed ads, and printed collateral.
Community Management: ensuring our audience’s inquiries, and concerns were heard and resolved. I managed this aspect of the project and ensured we promptly responded to inquiries, comments, and praise on social and email accounts.
